been enrolled in the Master of Information Technology, and
passed papers with a total value of at least 60 points for that degree
been recommended for admission by the Dean or delegated authority.
No candidate on whom the Degree of Master of Information Technology has been conferred may be permitted to apply for admission to the Postgraduate Diploma.
Requirements for the Postgraduate Diploma
Candidates must gain 120 points at 500 level or above.
The total enrolment for the Postgraduate Diploma must not exceed 150 points.
Candidates must enrol in the Faculty of Computing and Mathematical Sciences and follow an approved programme of study.
A candidate enrolled for the Postgraduate Diploma must pass 120 points from the papers, excluding internship or project papers, as prescribed in the Computer Science entry in the University of Waikato Catalogue of Papers.
A candidate admitted to this programme must complete the University of Waikato Academic Integrity Module.
Award of Honours
The Postgraduate Diploma may be awarded with Distinction.
The Dean or delegated authority may vary or waive these
regulations in individual cases.
